let the no. be x

25 - 7x = 30 + 6 ( 25-7x )

25 - 7x = 30 + 150 - 42x

-7x -42x = 180 -25

-35x = 145

x = 145

-35

x = - 4.14 approx.

hope it helps you mate.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

LET THE NUMBER BE 'x' ; NOW I FRAME THE EQUATION ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION WATCH CAREFULLY ,

25 subtracted from 7 times a number is equal to 30 added to 6 times it

25        -                    7    *           x               =          30  +             6(25 - 7x )

or,25 - 7x = 30 + 6(25 - 7x )

or,  25 - 7x = 30 + 150 -42x
