CAMPAIGN IN NAIGAON

Naigaon, November 12 : In the pulse polio camp, organised by NSS volunteers of Ideal College at Naulakha Cinema Road, polio drops were given to more than 100 children. The camp was held under the guidance of the Principal, Fr. Jose Alakkal. The camp was inaugurated by the Municipal Commissioner Mr MP Gawade. In his speech he praised the efforts of the students of the college in their fight against this disease. The president of the College Managing Committee, Mr V K Deshmukh, also commended the students. They inspected the the camp where the nurses and doctors administered polio drops to the children. NSS volunteers had advertised the campaign almost for a month and so the attendance was quite encouraging.
