Given:

A bullock cartwheel with a circumference of 250 cm makes 10 rounds in 4 seconds.

To find:

What is the speed of bullock cart in km/hr?​

Solution:

The circumference of the bullock cartwheel = The distance covered by the bullock cartwheel in 1 round = 250 cm

∴ The distance covered by the bullock cartwheel in 10 rounds is,

= 250 × 10

= 2500 cm

∵ 1 cm = 0.01 m

= 25 m

The time taken to cover 10 rounds = 4 seconds

∴ The speed of the bullock cartwheel is,

= \frac{Distance}{Time} = \frac{25}{4}  \:m/s = \frac{25}{4} \times \frac{18}{5} \:km/hr = \frac{45}{2} = 22.5 \:km/hr

Thus, the speed of the bullock cart in km/hr is → 22.5 km/hr.
