To simplify : 2^{6 } \div 2^{-5}

Solution:-

  • As per the data given in the question, we have to simplify given expression .
  • If the bases of two numbers in the division are the same, then exponents are subtracted and the base will be the same.
  • \frac{x^{a}}{x^{b}}=x^{a-b}
  • We will apply the above exponents rules,  therefore we get,

          \begin{array}{l}=\frac{2^{6}}{2^{-5}} \\=2^{6 + 5} \\=2^{11} \\=2048\end{array}

Hence, the value will be 2048 .
