Let the radii of identical drops of mercury is r

capacity of the smaller drops( assuming them to be spherical) are= 4π∈r

capacity of the bigger drops will be (taking its radius as R)=4π∈R

comparing the volume,R=3r

Hence capacity of the bigger drop is 3 times that of each smaller drop
