Let the point that divide the line segment=0,Y

Let the ratio=k:1

X=M1X2+M2X1/M1+M2

X=K×3+1×-4/K+1

X=3K-4/K+1

K+1=3K-4

-2K=-5

K=2/5

Similarly

Y=M1Y2+M2Y1/M1+M2

The answer will come 2/5

Therefore ratio=2:5
