no of cubes on each side of larger cube = 27^(1/3) = 3
to cover the cube, no of cubes required on each side = 3+1+1 = 5
total no of cubes = 5×5×5= 125
to cover the cube, no of cubes required on each side = 3+1+1 = 5
total no of cubes = 5×5×5= 125
