EXPLANATION.

  • GIVEN

The pair of linear equation

=> 2x + 5y = 7 .......(1) and

=> 4x + 10y = 7 .......(2)

To find out the system are :-

1) = consistent pair of equation.

2) = inconsistent pair of equation.

3) = Dependent consistent pair of

equation.

4) = None of these.

According to the question,

=> 2x + 5y - 7 = 0 ......(1)

=> 4x + 10y - 7 = 0 .......(2)

From equation (1) and (2) we get,

=> A1 = 2 , B1 = 5 , C1 = -7

=> A2 = 4 , B2 = 10 , C2 = -7

 =  >  \:  \:  \:  \bold{ \frac{A1}{A2}  =  \frac{B1}{B2}  =  \frac{C1}{C2} }

  =  >  \:  \:  \bold{\frac{1}{2}  =  \frac{1}{2}  \ne \frac{1}{1} }

Therefore,

we have no solution

So, our system is inconsistent.

Hence,

Option [2] is correct
