Hii friend,

27/X-2 + 31/Y+3 = 85......(1)

31/X-2 + 27/Y+3 = 89......(2)

PUTTING 1/X-2 = U and 1/Y+3 = V in equation (1) and (2). Then the equation (1) and (2) become,

27U + 31V = 85......(3)

31U + 27V = 89.......(4)

From equation (3) we get,

27U + 31V = 85

27U = 85-31V

U = 85-31V/27.......(5)

Putting the value of U in equation (4)

31U + 27V = 89

31 × (85-31V/27) + 27V = 89

31 × 85 - 31 × 31V/27 + 27V = 89

2635 - 961V /27 + 27V = 89

2635 - 961V + 729V /27 = 89

-232V +2635 = 27×89

-232V +2635 = 2403

-232V = 2403-2635

-232V = -232

V = 232/232 => 1

Putting the value of V in equation (5)

U = 85-31V/27=> 85 - 31 × 1/27

U => 85-31/27 = 54/27 = 2

Therefore,

U = 2 and V = 1

1/X-2 =2 And 1/Y+3 = 1

2(X-2) = 1 And Y+3 = 1

2X-4 = 1 And Y = 1-3

2X = 1+4 And Y = -2

X = 5/2 And Y = -2

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU...... :-)
