Step-by-step explanation:

let LCM of 5&4 is 20

suppose he buy milk of ₹20

so he buy 4L of milk in₹20

the gain Percentage= 25%

so the selling price= 125/100*20

=₹25

so he sells 1L in ₹4

so he sells 25L in 25/4

=6.25L

so the amount of water he added 6.25-4 =2.25 L

so the added 2.25L of water.
