The Editor,

Dear Sir,
Through the column of your newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the people of our country that they are disturbing and demonstrating on highways.

Once I was going on a highway and it was a big traffic jam on the road, There is an ambulance got caught up in the traffic jam. It is a great loss of time and opportunity to many people. Once, I was also going for a paper and the people demonstrating we're not convinced by the people. After all, when they were all gone I was late for the exam and had a great loss in my studies. This all shows that demonstration and disturbance by the people cause a graet loss of time and opportunity for many people.

I hope the government will solve this situation and take proper steps to fight against Demonstration and Disturbance by the people.
Thanks

Your faithfully

To

The Editor in Chief,

The Times of India,

New Delhi.

Subject: The menace of protests and demonstrations.

Sir,

Through your esteemed newspaper I would like to express my deep concern about the increasing protests and demonstrations which result in disturbance and many inconveniences.

Nowadays it has become a normal thing for any Union or organization to stage protests and demonstrations against almost anything. This trend must stop because it causes inconvenience to the larger public. During such protests and demonstrations shops are closed and streets or roads blocked. We are left helpless under the circumstances. Law and order in our cities and towns is deteriorating. It seems a group of people can hold hostage an entire city and do as they please.

People need to think about the sick people who must be taken to a hospital or buy medicines. Schools are closed and the syllabus cannot be completed. Lots of shouting and violence leading to injuries and even death happen. Much destruction to properties take place.

The government must come up with a strong legislation to ban protests and demonstrations. There are many other peaceful and Democratic ways to resolve problems and disagreements.

Yours sincerely,

REETU SINGH
