Answer:

(a) 0.4g/cm3

(b) 400

Explanation:

Given v= 50cm3, m=20g

(a) d=m/v=20/50=0.4g/cm3

(b) v=50cm3=50×10-6cm3

m= 20/1000=2×10-2kg

d=m/v= 2×10-2/50×10-6=2000/5=400

hope it will help you !!

Given

v \:  =  \: 50 {cm}^{3}

m \:  =  \: 20g

The density of cork in :

(a) CGS system

d \:  =  \:  \frac{m}{v}

d \:  =  \frac{20}{50}  \:  =  \:  0.4g \:  {cm}^{3}

b) SI system

v \:  =  \: 50 \:  {cm}^{3}  = 50 \:  \times  \:  {10}^{ - 6}   \: {m}^{3}

m \:  =  \: 20gm \:  = 2 \:  \times  \:  {10}^{ - 2} kg

d \:  =  \:  \frac{m}{v}

d \:  =  \:   \frac{2 \:  \times  \:  {10}^{ - 2 \: kg} }{50 \:  \times  \:  {10}^{ - 6}  {m}^{3} }

d \:  =  \:  400 \: kg \:  {m}^{ - 3}
