28 is divided into two parts in such a way that 6/5 of one part is equal to 2/3 of other. What would be the smallest part

so, the other part is = (28-x)

Now, according to the question,

x×6/5 = (28-x) × 2/3

or, x×6/5 = 56/3 - 2x/3

or, 6x/5 +2x/3 = 56/3

or, (18x +10x)/15 = 56/3

or, 28x = 56× 15/ 3

or, 28x = 56×5

or, x= 56×5/ 28

or, x = 2×5

or, x= 10



so, the correct option is (C) 10
