Answer:

Given,mass of N₂=28 grams

          atomic mass of N₂=14(2)=28 u

Mass of H₂=12 grams

Atomic mass of H₂=1(2)=2 u

Now,Balance the reaction----

N₂         +          3H₂       ------------------>        2NH₃

Now,Count the number of moles in each of them,

No. of moles of N₂=    28g/28u= 1

no. of moles of H₂ =    12g/2u=6

Now,divide it by the no. of moles in the balanced reaction,

limiting reagent would be nitrogen(N₂) because

1 mole/1=1

but in hydrogen(H₂)=6 moles/3=2

hence,The nitrogen is having less number and will get consume in the reaction.
