(b) Calorimeter is made up of copper because

  • It is a good conductor of heat.
  • It has high specific heat capacity.

(c) Metal B because low specific heat capacity & thus it reaches the equilibrium temperature quickly by absorbing a small amount of heat.

(d) Heat loss due to radiation is minimized by placing the calorimeter in a box and polishing the box in order to smoothen it.
