29. An equilateral triangle ABC with sides of measure 6 cm, 8 cm and 10 cm. The area of the triangle is
(A) 40 cm2
(B) 24 cm2
(C) 30 cm2
(D) None of these

Some one give the correct answer with correct explanation please.

Anonymous: I THINK THERE'S A MISTAKE IN THIS QUESTION..IF THE TRIANGLE IS EQUILATERAL, ALL ITS SIDES SHOULD BE SAME..BUT IN THE QUESTION THEY HAVE GIVEN SEPERATE MEASURES FOR EACH SIDE..HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?
shikshamishra1809: yaa
Anonymous: and ur answer is totally wrong..u have written perimeter instead of area..and the person who asked this will probably write this for his homework..well...who's to blame?
shikshamishra1809: yeah
shikshamishra1809: am sorry i apologize
Anonymous: its ok ! :) after all we as humans do make mistakes
shikshamishra1809: tq for the correction
