answer:

Construct a parallelogram ABCD in which AB =4cm , BC =5cm and ∠ B =60

.

Answer

Open in answr app

In paralleogram ABCD

AB=DC=4cm [Opposite sides are equal]

BC=AD=5cm

∠B=60

and,

∠A+∠B=180

[Sum of cointerior angles]

⇒∠A=120

Steps of construction :

Step 1. Draw a line segment AB=4cm

Step 2. Draw a ray BX such that ∠ABX=60

Step 3.Mark a point C such that BC=5cm

Step 4. Draw a ray AY such that ∠YAB=120

Step 5. Mark a point D such that AD=5cm

Step 6. Join C and D.

Hence, ABCD is a required parallelogram.
