On hydrolysis of methyl bromide Methanol and hydrogen bromide is formed.
CH3Br + H2O —— CH3OH + HBr .
See simple logic I've used that if we break H2O as H+ and OH- ions and CH3Br as CH3+ and Br- then methanol and hydrogen bromide is formed.
See you can refer mechanism too but maybe this is simple concept than mechanism.
Enantiomers- Enantiomers are chiral molecules that are mirror images of one another. Furthermore, the molecules are non-superimposable on one another. This means that the molecules cannot be placed on top of one another and give the same molecule. Chiral molecules with one or more stereocenters can be enantiomers.
