29. If a - b = 7 and ab = 3, show that, (a + b)2 = 61.​

Answer:

(a-b)^2=7^2

a^2+b^2-2ab = 49

a^2+b^2-2×3=49

------------ =49+6=55

so,a^2+b^2= 55

now add 2ab both sides

a^2+b^2+2ab=55+2ab

(a+b)^2= 55+6=61

done
