Area under the F-x graph gives the work done by the force in that displacement.

(a) :  Work done (from x = -2 m to x=0),     W=−21×10×2=−10 J

(b) :  Work done (from x = 0 m to x=2 m),     W=21×10×2=10 J

Answer:

Work done =  area under f-x curve so here are

⇒ 21×(1)(10)+1×10+21×1×10−21×1×10−1×10

WD=5 joules

So net work done  =  5joules
