Answer:

LOOK

Step-by-step explanation:

IN FRIST

8x + 5y = 9

5y= 9- 8x

y= 9-8x/5

NOW BY PUTTING THIS VALUE OF Y IN SECOND EQUATION

3x+ 2y = 4

3x + 2 (9-8x/5)=4

3x+18-16x/5=4

15x + 18 - 16x=20

-x + 18=20

x=-2

now by putting -2 in first equation

8(-2)+ 5y=9

-16+5y=9

5y=9+16

5y=25

y=25/5

y=5

so

x=-2

y=5

⬇️⬇️Your answer⬇️⬇️

8x + 5y = 9

5y =9 - 8x

Y = 9 - 8x / 5

putting value of Y (second equation)

3x + 2y = 4

3x + 2 (9 - 8x / 5 ) = 4

3x + 18 - 16 x / 5 = 4

15x + 18 - 16x = 20

-x + 18 = 20

x = 2

By putting -2 in 1st equation.

8 ( -2 ) + 5y = 9

- 16 + 5y = 9

5y = 9 + 16

5y =25

y = 25

y = 25 / 5

y = 5

Your answer

  • x = 2
  • Y = 5

hope this will help you...
