                  2m²+14m-m-7

in standard form 2m²+13m-7=0

we can solve it also.

   2m²+13m-7=0

2m²+(14-1)m-7=0

2m²+14m-1m-7=0

2m(m+7)-1(m+7)=0

(2m-1) (m+7) =0

∴Now, (2m-1)=0

           m= 1/2 (answer)

then 2nd case ∴ (m+7) =0

                         m=-7(answer)
