(2x  +  1)(2x - 1) = (4x + 3)(x - 5) \\  \\  \implies4 {x}^{2}  - 1 = 4 {x}^{2}  - 17x - 15 \\  \\  \implies17x + 14 = 0

Here, the variable "x" in the given equation having highest power as 1 and thus the equation is not a quadratic one.
