2x- \frac{1}{3}= \frac{1}{5} - x

TO FIND -

  • value of X

SOLUTION -

2x-\frac{1}{3} =\frac{1}{5} - x

2x + x= \frac{1}{3} + \frac{1}{5}

Equalising denominator

3x= \frac{1}{3} × \frac{5}{5} + \frac{1}{5} × \frac{3}{3}

3x= \frac{5}{15}+ \frac{3}{15}

3x= 5+ \frac{3}{15}

3x= \frac{8}{15}

x= \frac{8}{15}× 3

x= \frac{8}{45}
