Explanation..

2x²-3x+1
it is sometimes desirable to express it in the form of a²+b²

Notice that by simultaneously adding and subtracting 3.

= 2x²-3x+1

=2x²-3x+3-3+1

we have changed the value of the expression.

(2x²-3x+3)-(3+1)

(x+3)²+4

(x+3)²+2². Hence done. the values are substituted
