Hey there !

Solution:

Taking LCM we get,

2x + 4 ( 3 ) / 3 = 14

=> 2x + 12 / 3 = 14

Transposing 4 to the Right hand Side we get,

=> 2x + 12 = 14 * 3

=> 2x + 12 = 42

=> 2x = 42 - 12

=> 2x = 30

=> x =30 / 2 = 15

Hence the value of x is 15.

Hope it helped !

2x/3 + 4 = 14
2x/3 = 14 - 4
2x/3 = 10
2x = 3 • 10
2x = 30
x = 30/2
thus x = 15
