Now substitute the value of $2x=2+2y$  from equation( 3 ) to equation (1)

substituting the value we get  

        $2+2y+3y=12$

        $5y=12-2=10$

                 $y=\frac{10}{5}=2$

                         $y=2$

here we get the value of y= 2

Substitute the value of y in equation ( 2 ). we get

          $x=1+y$

          $x=1+2=3$

          $x = 3$

here we get the value of x = 3

Hence by solving the above system of equation we get x = 3 and y = 2 .
