here we go

     2x+3y=18

    -7x+9y=15

equation (1)x 7

equation (2)x 2

     14x + 21y = 54

    -14x + 18y = 30

--------------------------------

              39y = 84

=> y = 84/39

=> y = 2.1 = 2

and

 => 2x + 3(2) = 18

 =>2x + 6 = 18

 =>2x = 12

 => x = 6
