x = -10/13

therefore the value of x in equation (2)
3x+2y-8=0
3× -10/13 +2y=o
-30/13 +2y=0
therefore y= - 30/13 - 2
30 -26/13
=4/13
hence therefore x = -10/13 and y = 4/13
