aniketjadhao270: From 1 and 2
aniketjadhao270: X+y=3
aniketjadhao270: X=3-y
aniketjadhao270: putting x in 2
aniketjadhao270: 9-y=8
aniketjadhao270: Y=1
aniketjadhao270: x=4

2x + 3y = 7....

Also, 3x + 2y = 8....

Adding the equations,

5x + 5y = 15

So, x + y = 3.......... EQ1

Subtracting the equations,

x - y = 1........... EQ2

Add EQ 1 and EQ 2,

Then, 2x = 4

x = 2.....

So, y is 1....

Feel free to ask any doubts

aniketjadhao270: By substracting eqn 1 from equation 2
ramya1995: how did u get equation 2
aniketjadhao270: u are in which class
ramya1995: mpharm
aniketjadhao270: U given 2 equations to solve so 1st one is eqn. 1 and another is eqn.2
ramya1995: tq
