Step-by-step explanation:

given here:-

2x-3y =7 or x/(7/2) - y/(7/3) = 1………(1)

(a+b)x-(a+b-3)y = (4a+b)

or x/[(4a+b)/(a+b)] - y/[(4a+b)/(a+b-3)]=1…(2)

Equating the eq.(1) & (2)

(4a+b)/(a+b)= 7/2.

8a+2b=7a+7b

a=5b………….(3)

(4a+b)/(a+b-3) =7/3………..(4)

On putting a = 5b from eq. (3)

(20b+b)/(5b+b-3) = 7/3

(21b)/(6b-3)=7/3

(21b)/3(2b-1) =7/3

7b/(2b-1)= 7/3

b/(2b-1) = 1/3

3b =2b-1

b= -1 .

But a= 5b =5×(-1) = -5

a =-5 , b = -1 , Answer.
