2x-3y = 8

2x = 8+3y

x = 8+3y/2 ( here you can put any value of y)

x= 8+3(2)/2. { taking y= 2&4. so,x=10& 7}

so,x= 7 and y = 2

x= 8+3(4)/2

so, x = 10 and y= 7

4x-6y-9= 0

4x-6y =9

4x= 9+6y

x= 9+6y/4. ( now putting the value of y)

As I had already done in 1st part.

similarly you have to do.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

2x - 3y = 8

- 3y = - 2x + 8

y = (2/3)x - 8/3 , slope m = 2/3 , y-intercept b = - 8/3

4x - 6y - 9 = 0

- 6y = - 4x + 9

y = (4/6)x - 9/6

y = (2/3)x - 3/2 , slope m = 2/3 , y-intercept b = - 3/2

As we can see, slopes of both linear equations are the same, but y-intercepts are different this means lines are parallel and system of equations has no solution.
