6x-1=4x+27

2x=28

2x/4 - 1/12 = x/3 + 9/4

now arrange the like terms i.e. variables with variables and numericals with numericals

2x/4 - x/3 = 9/4 +1/12

x/2 - x/3 = (3 x 9+1)/12 ( LCM of 3 and 4 is 12)

(2x X 3 - x )/12 = ( 27+1)/12 (LCM of 4 and 12 is 12)

(6x-x)/12 = 28/12

5x/12 = 28/12

5x = (28 X 12)/12 ( 12 cancels 12 )

x = 28/5 Ans.
