- 2x + 5y = 13 ---- ( 1 )
16x + 3y = 25 --- ( 2 )

Multiply by 8 on ( 1 ) .

- 16x + 40y = 104 ---- ( 3 )

Now, adding ( 1 ) & ( 3 )

16x + 3y = 25
- 16x + 40y = 104
_______________
43y = 129
_______________

y = 129 / 43

y = 3

Substituting the value of y in ( 1 )

- 2x + 5( 3 ) = 13

- 2x + 15 = 13

- 2x = - 2

x = 1

Here is your answer
Multiply by 8 in equation 1 And Added equation 1 & 2

-16x + 40y = 104
16x + 3y. = 25

we get
43y = 129

y = 129/43

y = 3

Now put it in equation 1 we get
 - 2x + 5 \times 3 = 13 \\ - 2x = 13 - 15 \\ - 2x = - 2 \\ x = \frac{ - 2}{- 2} \\ x = 1
Hope it helps you
