I hope u wish to find the value of x .
so we have (2x - 3)/4x+5 = 1/3
simply cross multiply the terms on lhs and rhs
we get : 3(2x -3) = 4x + 5
=> 6x - 9 = 4x + 5
=> 6x - 4x = 5 + 9 ( transposing like terms )
=> 2x = 14
=> x = 14/2
=> x = 7
hope it helps.
