2x + Y - 6 =0, 4x-2y-4=0 find x and y​

hey! your answer

2x+y=6---(1)

4x-2y=4

dividing by 2

2x-y=2-------(2)

(1) +(2)

2x+y=6

2x-y=2

_______

4x=8

x=8/4

x=2

put x=2 in equation (1)

2x+y=6

2×2+y=6

4+y=6

y=6-4

y=2

x=2 and y=2
