The Bohr model gives correct results (more or less) only when applied to the hydrogen atom or “hydrogen-like” ions (ions with a single electron, such as He+, Li++, and Be+++). The basic reason is that the Bohr model can't deal with the interactions between electrons in atoms or ions with more than one electron.
