Answer:.

2x + y = 7

y = 7 - 2x -----( 1 )

4x - 3y + 1 = 0 ------( 2 )

Substitute ( 1 ) in equation ( 2 ) , we

get

4x - 3( 7 - 2x ) + 1 = 0

4x - 21 + 6x + 1 = 0

10x - 20 = 0

10x = 20

x = 20/10

x = 2

Put x = 2 in equation ( 1 ) , we get

y = 7 - 2 × 2

y = 7 - 4

y = 3

Therefore ,

x = 2 , y = 3

I hope this helps you...
