Given two expressions are ,

2x² + 3x - 5 and 2x² - 4

Their Sum = ( 2x² + 3x - 5 )+ ( 2x² - 4 )

= 2x² + 3x - 5 + 2x² - 4

= 2x² + 2x² + 3x - 5 - 4


= ( 2 + 2 )x² + 3x - 9

= 4x² + 3x - 9
