Hey

Here is your answer,

2x^2 + 3x = 7a
2x^2 + 3x - 7a = 0

Substitute the value of x in equation,

2(-1)^2 + 3(-1) - 7a = 0
2 - 3 - 7a = 0
-1 - 7a = 0
-7a = 1
a = -1/7

Hope it helps you!

2 × (- 1) × ( - 1) + 3 × (-1) × (- 1) = 7a

2 × 1 + 3 × 1 = 7a

2 + 3 = 7a

5 /7 =a

so a =5 / 7
