Answer:

2x^2 - x + 1/8 = 0                                product = 2x^2 × 1/8 = x^2 / 4

                                                              sum = -x

                                                            factors :     -1/2 , -1/2

2x^2 - 1/2x - 1/2x +1/8 = 0

2x ( x - 1/4) - 1/2 (x - 1/4) = 0

(2x- 1/2) ( x - 1/4) = 0

x = 1/4 or x = 1/4

Answer:

\mathcal{\pink{answer =  x =  \frac{1}{4} }}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given equation:

= 2x²-x+1/8=0

 =  \frac{16 {x}^{2} - 8x + 1 }{8}  = 0

by cross multiplication;

we get,

=16x²-8x+1=0

by middle term splitting,

= 16x² 4x-4x+1=0

= 4x(4x-1)-1(4x-1)=0

=(4x-1)(4x-1)=0

=4x-1=0 ; 4x-1=0

=x= 1/4 ; x= 1/4

=》 X= 1/4
