Answer:

According to Nehru, is India's unending quest

Some of the goals dear to Nehru were

India should be a world power and a world leader . That's why he shunned joining any camp but invented the concept of Non Aligned Movement also known as NAM. India along with Nasser of Egypt and Tito of Yugoslavia became the trimuverate face of NAM .

Friendship with China. It prospered for a while but collapsed due to competing claims over Tibet and territory .

India as an industrial nation . At the independence India was a largely rural and agrarian economy heavily dependent on monsoon.

The private sector was still in infancy . Thus Nehru set up industries in govt sector and these became popular as PSUs.

But they served a vital purpose even though they were inefficient . They set up the industrial base for higher growth and development .

Nehru wanted a highly educated India. That's why a network of govt schools were set up . Many universities were set up

And prestigious IITs and IIMs . The institutions of higher learning . And they have produced many highly qualified professionals who are a name to reckon with world wide . The present day govts are merely expanding the network.

Power to the people. The purpose of panchayati raj institutions was to empower the last man standing .

And Cooperative Development prog for development of agriculture irrigation etc .

And good health . All India Health Institute was to lead the way to improve the health meter of the citizens .

Disarmament was also close and dear to his heart . But eventually India had to use the nuclear option .
