there are two series going alternatively namely

2, 4, 8, 16, ...

and 3, 11, 35, 107, ...

Now since terms of these 2 series come alternatively , next term of actual series is next term of second series

i.e. we need to find next term of 3,11,35,107,..

here difference of two consecutive terms is .... : 11-3 , 35-11 , 107-35 ,...

or 8 ,24 , 72 ...

in which every term is 3 times of last term

Thus next term will be 107+ (72×3) = 323

So option (B) is correct
