Answer:

Key points -

No. of boxes Sonam bought - 5 boxes

Cost of all five boxes - 2932.15

Weight of each box - 2.3kg = 2300g

1) Total weight of the box = 2.3 × 5 = 2,300 × 5 ÷ 100 = 11.5 kg

∴ Total weight of the boxes is 11.5 kg

2) Cost of 1 kg of mangoes = 2932 ÷ 5 = 586.4

∴ The cost of 1 kg of mangoes is ₹586.4

3)  If she distributes 3 of the boxes amongst 8 relatives, how many kilograms of mangoes does each relative get =

3 of the boxes = 2.3 × 3 ÷ 8 = 0.8625

∴ Each relative will get 0.8625 kg of mangoes.
