please check whether it is tan^2 40° or tan^30°, 45° or 60° because in case it is 40° it won't solve to a number

3/4 tan^2 40° + 3 sin^2 60° - cot^2 30° + sec^2 45°

3/4 tan^2 40° + 3*(√3/2)^2 - (√3)^2 + (√2)^2

3/4 tan^2 40° + 3*3/4 - 3 + 2

3/4 tan^2 40° + 9/4 - 1

3/4 tan^2 40° + 5/4

(suppose it is tan 45°)

3/4 tan^2 45° + 5/4

3/4*1^2 + 5/4

3/4 + 5/4

8/4
