Now, multiply 10 from above equation

10x = 34.121212...

10x = 34 + 0.121212.....

10x = 34 + y

[ Now, y = 0.121212..... _(i)

Multiplying 100 from y we get 100y = 12.121212.... _(ii)

By (ii) - (i) we get,

99y = 12 or y = 12/99 ]

10x = 34 + 12/99

10x = ( 34 × 99 + 12 × 1 )/99

10x = ( 3366 + 12 )/99

x = 3378/990
