Explanation:

acceleration = v/t

= 50/3

=16.666666667

distance travle = v*t

= 50x3

=150

Explanation:

Given :

Initial velocity (u) = 0 m/s

Final velocity (v) = 50 km/h

Time taken (t) = 3 mins

To find :

Acceleration (a)

Distance travelled (s)

Solution :

We have,

=> u = 0 m/s

=> v = 50 Km/h

>> v = 50 × 5/18 m/s

  • 13.89 m/s

=> t = 3 minutes

  • 3 × 60 sec
  • 180 sec

Acceleration :

=> Change in velocity/Time taken

>> v - u/t

  • 13.89 - 0/180
  • 0.077 m/s²

Distance :

=> s = ut + 1/2at²

>> s = 0(180) + 1/2 × 0.077 × (180)²

>> s = 0 + 1/2 × 2494.8

>> s = 1247.4 m
