We can cancel the negative symbol from (-3/-5) as -1 is common in the numerator and denominator.

So, we get 3/5.

(3/5)k = 1.

k = 1 ÷ 3/5 (when taking a number from LHS to RHS, the symbol gets swapped)

k = 1 * 5/3

k = 5/3 .
