Given :

  • A box contains 2,00,000 medicine tablets each weighing 20 mg

To find :

  • total weight of all the tablets in the box in grams and in Kilo grams

Solution :

weight of one tablet= 20 mg

Total weight of 200000 tablets in the box

=> 200000 x 20 mg

=> 4000000 mg

Now, weight in grams

=> (4000000/1000)g

=> 4000 g ..............(1mg = 1/1000 g)

Now, weight in kilograms kg

=> (4000/1000)kg

=> 4 kg ............(1g = 1/1000 kg)

=> Weight of all the tablets in the box in grams is 4000 and in Kilo grams is 4
