3. A car can reach a certain place in 12 hours at the speed of 60 km/hr. By how much should
the speed be increased so that it completes the journey in 10 hours?​

In second case,

distance = 720 km ( it's constant always)

time = 10 hrs

so v ( speed) = d/t = 720/10 = 72km/hr

so the change in speed = 72 - 60 = 12 km/hr....

Hence by increasing 12 km/hr the journey gets over in 10 hrs...
